Each book contains the basic technical specifications (50-100 attributes) of every model of the type on sale in Europe. The books can be used by anyone understanding English, French, German, Spanish or Italian. Being small (100x175mm), they are easily carried in a pocket or briefcase.

Most titles are updated and republished every six months. Our experienced staff use data extracted from manufacturers' latest specification sheets and brochures.

Because the books really can be popped into a pocket, they are always to hand when needed. They are therefore greatly appreciated and used by sales personnel and others whose working environment often makes manuals, binders, laptop computers and other information sources too cumbersome or too slow to provide an answer.

Our customers range from individuals to major corporations, who come to us because of our up-to-date, complete and accurate information, reliably delivered at economic cost.

Subject to economical minimum quantities, pocketbooks can be supplied with client's own corporate cover, with bespoke contents, or entirely to the client's own design. We will be pleased to quote against individual requirements and to provide sample books.

Compact Discs

Spec Check Europe can provide specification data on CD-ROM for the following product categories:

Skid Steer Loaders
Backhoe Loaders
Telescopic Handlers
Mini Excavators
Crawler Excavators
Wheeled Excavators
Wheeled Loaders
Articulated Dumptrucks
Dozers
Heavy Compaction Equipment

Industrial Forklift Trucks

Each CD ROM covers one product category and has a database application for installation on the client's computer. The CD-ROM provides complete machine specifications of every model of the type on sale in Europe. The application allows the user to sort the models by various parameters, isolate those of interest and display subsections of their attributes for comparison alongside each other.

In addition, where the facility is included, available data can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet for editing and further processing.

The CD-ROM is a portable solution, providing extensive data totally independent of an internet connection.

This CD ROM service is provided by annual subscription. Clients receive an initial CD ROM, and up-dates at three month intervals. This keeps the client fully informed of the latest product introductions, changes, updates and discontinuations throughout the year.

Subject to an economical minimum volume, it is also possible to produce bespoke CD ROMs reflecting a client's corporate style and containing data specific to his products and markets.

Web Based Data

Our website provides complete machine specifications of every model of the type on sale in Europe.

We are continuously seeking the latest available data from manufacturers and other sources and our website is updated within hours of receipt.

Data is provided for all popular types of mobile construction and compaction equipment on sale in Europe, and most makes and models of Industrial Forklift Truck.

The data can be viewed at one of three levels, depending on the needs of the user.

"Summary" data provides between 8 and 16 attributes on each model, and gives an overview of the model's size and principle performance parameters.

"Intermediate" data, which corresponds to the data in our pocketbooks, offers between 50 and 120 attributes, and provides comprehensive data on most features of the model as well as its performance parameters.

"Complete" level data, which corresponds to data on our CD ROMs, varies between about 85 and 700 attributes, depending on the complexity of the product type. The data covers all available details of the product, including optional engines, transmissions, loading and excavating equipment, tyre and track options, and the weights, dimensions and performance parameters relating to each.

Customised Data

We recognise that not all clients need access to a full range of specification data. In particular, component and attachment manufacturers need only that data which is relevant to their own product.

Spec Check Europe can supply bespoke data tailored to the needs of individual clients. Several component and attachment suppliers already make use of this service, which need cover only the products and attributes of your choice, and can include historical data if desired.

This is a very economical way to buy only the data you need, with the assurance that it is always up-to-date and accurate, and without the expense and difficulty of trying to acquire and maintain it yourself.

If you have a specific data requirement, why not click "Contact Us" on the menu bar above, then use the "Sales" link, or call Cliff Ewing on +44(0)1889 569 666, to discuss your particular requirements.

Database Solutions

Many companies now use a website, an "Intranet" or an "Extranet" to provide sales and technical information on their products to their personnel, their dealers, and the general public. The availability of specification comparisons would enhance the value of the system.

It can be very time consuming and expensive for a company to gather all the information required and then to keep it up-to-date. Spec Check Europe can provide and maintain that information.

The most simple and economical method is via a link to the Spec Check Europe website. Options include password protection, varying data level permissions, and page design reflecting the client's corporate style.

Where the client already has, or wishes to develop his own data display software, we can supply the specification data for inclusion in the system.

Where a client wishes to develop an Internet data display but has no experience or in house capability, we can provide both the expertise and the data he needs.
